(I asked before in this thread about the same exact spec of model but a different actual car & price also from a different dealer than I am here, for anyone who read that & helped me already! Also I've included a better description this time!)

Is £19,595 a good price for a brand new TDI FR with mostly all the toys except mainly rear parking sensors, bi-xenons and sat nav?
I would have liked bi-xenons but I'm trying to keep the cost down & definitely well under £20,000.
It would be a factory order & also have full leather upholstery, mirrors/18" alloy wheels painted black instead of silver & sideskirts fitted.
It has Bluetooth, usb, armrest, sunroof & both convenience packs.

I know it's best to buy nearly new with the way things are (& have always more or less been) but if I can get the price low enough & I can afford it I'm considering new first as it's a car I may want to keep for a while.
Unless it proves unreliable or something else.

cheers in advance troops for any opinions shared! :)

What exactly is included in the deal?

It isn't more than a few hundred off list. For example a brand new TDI FR with Metallic Paint, 18 inch alloys, Bluetooth, Convenience pack, ipod connection, rear side airbags and Winter pack is £17,910.

Warwickshire once.
Can you give us your complete spec list, I'm guessing:-

Leon FR TFI
18's
bluetooth
sunroof
Conveniance
Winter
matts
chrome door bits.
etc

Once you have done that price it on SEAT main site and then take 10% off and let us know where you got to.

Bet you can get more than that off it though.

We'd prefer it if you kept this in one thread rather than starting a new one for each different price. :)

sorry didn't realised the do's and don't feel free to delete the new thread if you or whoever else likes. My thinking was best not to confuse one deal from one source from the next but I take your point guys.
Anyways I've deleted the other thread straight away so it's not even active anymore!

i paid less than that for a cupra with sat nav, sunroof, bluetooth, convenience pack, rear parking sensors, and xenons (addmittedly they came standard at the time), and that was while they werent (officially) offering discount.

i think youve got a lot of room for 'negotiation' there.

Interesting. And you're saying your Cupra was brand new as well then?

Chris's Cupra was brand new and at a time when dealers were being a pain about selling them. (sorry for butting in there Chirs mate, but noticed you were offline)

I bought one around the same time and they went on about how rare they were and did I really want a Cupra and wouldn't I prefer an FR instead.

If the FR TDi you are looking at is from stock, I'm sure a really good price can be negotiated.

The market is very bad at the moment if you have no part ex then you're laughing.

I got an FR TDI in red for the new letter (08) on the first of March - I agreed / Paid £15,895 on the road for the car from a Seat dealer. Options are nice but you get nowt for them when you sell on, plus the FR is practically fully loaded. They also gave me book price for the trade in. I got a price from the net (autobytel and autoworld) and the deal matched it.

It's a buyers market at the minute, sure I read somewhere that the TDI FR's are on 0% apr from the dealers which would indicate they are desparate to sell. I got roughly 10% off when times were good / decent would defo expect better now.

Shop around you will certainly get a better deal.

It's apparently not in stock but meant to be a new factory build which would take quite a few weeks.
I was expecting this quote to be really competitive at least, as it's from the recommended dealer everyone goes on about on this forum!

Also, how do you mean if I've no part exchange then I'm laughing? Excuse my ignorance...
