i'm going to get the retrofit fronts as recommended by a few peeps.. part number 1J2998002


will someone please confirm me the part number for the polo rear aero wiper that fits? i know it needs a little trim or something... just dont want to order a mk6 wiper if its a mk5 i need,etc.

once i have the 2 confirmed part numbers i'll get onto VW.. thankin you

Seriously though how much do VW charge, I can give them a call tomorrow. however someone on here might already know.

i get them from my local TPS for around £16for the set which imo its pretty dam good! if you get stuck i can always order and send them for around £20 (cant remember how much postage was on the last set).

Can someone post a picture of these OEM Retrofit Aero Wipers? I want to know if the passenger side wiper fits the screen properly. But I have a sneaky feeling these wipers are rebadged Bosch ones.

st10587 - Sorry haven't read through the whole thread...but what exactly do I need to ask for when I go into my local TPS? Looking for the front aero blades atm.

Can't believe how bad the ones are on my car.... spent a few hours driving in the rain yesterday and got the biggest headache from looking through a smeared windscreen!

assuming you have the standard 'hook' style wiper arms ask for the retro fit mk4 golf wiper kit or ask for part number 1J2998002. i get the set for £16 but that trade price

Trade discount is about 15% isnt it? I desperatly need them as I noticed that the ones that i've got on atm are lightly scratching the windscreen aswell!

standard trade is 10% i get between 10-40% as i work for BMW and we are part of the trade club

found on vagparts - catalogue - VW > Polo > Exterior > Aero Wipers

they do cos the new ibizas come with aero rears, but ive been told they're not as good as the polo ones

I've been trying to get my head around what ones I would need to order for my facelift FR (10/2006) and I've worked out the vagparts polo/ibiza rear aero wiper is the one to order part nb 6Q66Q6435 £14.59 (the rear wiper on my car is really cr@p).

Thing is I need to order some new fronts anyway, I'm happy to pay a little extra as I need them ASAP, but for the facelift model, what are the part numbers, where do I get them from, etc etc.

Any help would be most appreciated!

if you have a prefaclift with the standard wipers look further up this thread to where there is the part number for the VW retrofit aero wipers........then pop into your local dealer job done!
