remote windows

hi peeps im wondering as ive heard its possible if you can have your windows go up when you lock your car on the original alarm and key fob???

has anybody done or have this on there car if so any chance of this explained how??

Ive got it
You need to buy a KVW100 module, plug it in the port in your dash, wait for the beeps, job done.
Best mod i ever did for the money, think it was about £30

It is that easy mate, takes 2mins at most
Got mine from here http://www.vagproducts.co.uk/kvw.html but they took forever and there service wasnt very good, just got automated emails back from them
Got it in the end though (maybe 10days) and it worked perfect

To be precise - I think it's if your car is pre 56 plate

you are probably best asking the company you buy from though as i have heard of people with the right age car having a problem with it not working but atleast if they tell you it works and it doesnt you should be able to get your $$$ back

I believe it depends on the part number of your convenience module. vagproducts.com lists the code. They couldn't guarentee that it would work on my 2005 54 cupra so I haven't bought one, but would be good to know if any other 54 plate cars have worked ok before I splash out.

how's this work then? windows go up when you lock, if theyre open, and i take it you hold the button to have windows open with the doors? ie no good having them open every time it might be raining!

didn't reallise the key fob had a "hold" feature thought it would just send the signal with a button press.

ie press once to open drivers door, twice to open both, didnt thinkit would recognise a hold?
