front subframe price?

i crashed my arosa the other night and its pretty nasty.......i need to wishbones a strut and a subframee!....i was wonderingggggg how much-ish for a subframe! if i go through insurance my car will be wrote off so its going to cost me about 800 quid to get done in total but the cheaper the subframe the better as it is the most expensiveee!

yeah my dad just went to the seat garage and they said £353...and then i rang a scrap yard and they said between 95-120 if they have one in!

same as lupo and mk4 and 5 polo's 94-01 as are the wishbones. theres plenty at my local scrappy.

ahh cheers mate!....ive just been to the scrappy rang all in my area (thers lots) and only one had what i wanted managed to get everything i needed for 160...which isnt bad im going to go back for the black interior that is in it.....lets hope no more problems occur when i get the subrframe off!

if you want a decent price from a dealer then ask David in the Seremotors forum on this site. he can give upto 40% on a variety of parts and accessories.

if the subframe has bent, it will have pulled the chassis legs together, so fitting a new one might not fit.

ahh its alright ive got the parts now...but thanks alot anywaysss

i know im dreading when the subframe etc has been taken off, more parts are brokennnn hopefully they wont be!

If they are you should be able to push them apart again...
