What MAF please? GT2X - custom map

I know this may sound a stupid question (stupid question gets a stupid answer) but what MAF do I need?

I run the 3" MAF housing due to the 3" intake for the gt2x, but this still has standard sized MAF. Do I go for the MAF which comes from an LCR or stick with the standard one that my 180 Leon came with? or are they both the same?

Normally you will need an element from a maf meant for your car in the 3inch housing you have. If you dont know anybody with the right bit to undo the screws do it with a pair of mole grips.

If that's what your mapper originally specified, why would you want go and fit something different than a MAF element for an AUQ Leon?

Take your MAF sensor out and look at the numbers on it. Star told me my sensor is 06A906461MX.

Tony.. we said this last week dude.
Std Leon Cupra MAF "sensor" which you will then use the sensor element out of it and put inside the larger LCR MAF tube.

If you are stuck I will get it, fit it when you come back so no problem for you with the security screws for you. Easier me thinks yea?

thanks guys, its ok, I worked it out

new MAF ordered and new coolant sensor as it takes ages for the temp gauge to show correct temp, which has only started happening recently
