car cut out now won't start

got a problem leaving work this evening, car started with no problems then i was waiting at a roundabout waiting for a gap one appeared so i gave it a little (not lots) when all of a sudden it cut out no warning no lights nothing just died, now it will not start any help please

wont be a boost pipe, the engine would still run and go with no boost at all- just wouldnt be very fast lol. if you've got fuel going to the fuel rail then check to see if its sparking, if it doesnt spark then its most probably the crank sensor (unless its an immobiliser fault)

tell us if the engine ticks when trying to start. could also be your fuel pump. DO you hear it run when you start?

Mine stalled when i popped a pipe off. would try to fire, but cuts out straight away.

They dont run mate when they pop a boost pipe off because of the map sensor! they would run if there was a small split in a pipe tho

the fuel pump makes a noise when i try to start it, will check for spark tomorrow what are the chances off all four coils packs breaking down at the same time? what are the symptoms if it is the crank sensor?

very unlikly all four coil packs would break down.

Quick check for the crank sensor is , when turning it over does your rev counter lift up alittle bit? if so it shows that its working! crank sensor would bring an engine light on tho
