I know what you mean about the stereo one. I have something similar to the police one.

When you drive to Bristol and back on saturday without a glitch, then want to pop to B&Q (5 mins away) today and will it start ? will it 'eck as like... then finally, get it going only to be sat in B&Q carpark for about 40 mins with it not wanting to start, then all the way home it hunts for fuel ( easily half a tank in it~)in heavy traffic threatening to die again....
