I have 6k lights, would probably try 4300k next time. apparently merc and BMW etc mainly use 4300, personally I occasionally think the 6k are a tiny bit too blue.
for dipped and main wont you need bi-xenon? I enquired about it ages ago to a dealer and he said you need a kit that does both and due to a massive delay (using 2x H.I.D Kits) on full beams turning on it makes flashing pointless and the fix for this was some kit i think was called bi-xenon but not cheap.
Superb anyone got any pics of both sets so i can get an idea of what both look like and if poss engine bay. Gonna get them ordered but need to be sure.
What's the best way of aligning them at home - I know my grandad used to have marks on the garage wall for various cars he owned for where the light beam should be when at a certain distance from the wall - what's the formula so I can check mine are adjusted correctly?
From doing a bit of digging - pull up to a wall and mark the centre of your headlights on it - drive back 25ft in a straight line and the top of your light beam should be 2.5" below that mark - I'd imagine it works the same for shorter distances - 15ft is 1.5" and 10ft is 1"
