That is Awesome's own Mk5 GTI demo with the APR Big Turbo conversion on it.

Did just over 350bhp i believe.

ED30's do sometimes dyno high results stock, but ultimately its just the same engine as that in the leon cupra, and audi s3.

Not exactly the same, but almost the same. There are differences, the Edition 30 and Cupra are very similar in specification.

The S3 has further differences such as the uprated intercooler that many people are now upgrading to, and a different engine compression ratio on the S3.

Awesome's Golf isn't an Edition 30 however, it started out as a normal Golf GTi DSG (200PS) and has evolved through a couple of transformations during the time they have owned it. Started out as a demo for APR software and bolt on mods, and eventually became their Stage III APR demonstrator.

Z's car looks so nice on these pictures. It looks absolutely immaculate. Fair bit of elbow grease gone into that i bet.

Aye it still aches now, cleaned it the day before. :headhurt:

It's not perfect got a few small battle scars here and there

Being black it's already starting to look mucky too, endless task.

Its a nightmare isnt it. To be fair it looks in great condition for a black car and you couldnt tell it had any imperfections from the pictures.

Little scratches mainly, and the odd stone chip nothing too serious but it always makes you grumble when you find a new one.

It's not too bad for the dreaded swirlys though they are there but very faint, always tried to be as careful as I can with my washing technique. Like most black cars if they are looked after at least, they do look stunning when they are all polished up and waxed. Just a lot of hard work. :p
