I got mine from ebay. Have a look to see if someone is breaking a mk3 cupra and ask if the exhaust is still available, try and get it from cat back.

Peco do a rear box for the pre-facelift, fits perfectly in the bumper cut-out and sounds OK too.

are you going to be fitting your exhaust? if not garages would do it easy enough..if not look on the bay... £15 for one

Yep it does sound good. I will try and get a video/sound-clip if you want. It has a nice deep burble when idling, but doesnt get to loud as you get up the rev range. It isnt total loud/chavvy when sitting at 70mph. Yes, it does get louder but nothing stupid and just keeps a low-ish burble at 70mph.
Never noticed how low it was until my dad pulled up outside my house the other day when he was using my car. It was good hearing it by not sitting in the car. Im even happier with it now!

just thinkin that on the 1.4 the exhaust is behind the bumper, dunno what its like on the cupra, havnt seen a sock exhaust in a while lol
would you need to modd the bumper or does it just hang under it?

I've been a very bad owner to my gorgeous skittle, her exhaust is blowing and I need to replace it but been having a think of what to get. It'll be interesting to see what the outcome of the best exhaust is. I don't want a chavvy one as I get enough chavvy people beep and wave(well there version of waving) at me xxxx

Mine just hangs under, but it does knock on the bumper abit. The bumper needs cut. Its pushed the black bit at the bottom up slightly but thats it.
wuddnt be much to just cut a bit out the black trim i suppose

I just need to cut out the small bit that curves under, you are only talking like 10mm or so. I got the middle and back box. There was a bit of pipe fitted and modified to fit from the middle box and onto the cat. Its the same diameter pipe used for the rest of the system.
sounds good, just get the garage to fit it then, get it up on the ramp, be easier lol
