How do I get a 300Hp+ Cupra?

Once they said 150hp was the limit for FWD, then 200hp and so on. They can always come up with a theory but engineers are clever swines and they tend to find a way to push the envelope.

Torque steer can be noticeable but not aggressive, I'm pushing my luck further by running my Leon on 19" wheels which would be more susceptible to torque steer but I don't really think it's an issue.

At the end of the day its subjective to personal tastes and driving styles I guess, but i think my car drives no differently than when it was stock at 240hp, other than i have a shed load more midrange now and a better top end.

Mine tugs left and right on a bumpy road if your going some, but other than that, like ZBOYD says, the car feels no different to drive every day. The re-map gives much stronger and sudden power delivery north of 4K RPM because all Leons have a fuel pump pressure issue if you over-do things in the mid-range.

Easilly fixed with the Autotech (sp?) HPFP internals though, but if you choose to use Revo like I did, then the upgraded fuel pump will not give maximum performance as Revo have no code avaliable yet, if at all.

Car is good to 340BHP easilly, and mine will get there once Revo get their backsides in gear, and I have no doubts what so ever that the car will handle that power perfectly.

Last I heard, Revo were looking for a car with a fuel pump on to tweak the code. You're not far from Dav - why not get a fuel pump and volunteer your car?

This how we all got Stage I and Stage II for other cars, somebody volunteered.

They have their own K1 they will be using in the very near future ;)

Err I already did, having fitted the pump, only to be told that they wanted a Cupra with everything, ie CAI, exhaust, fuel pump,(which I have) and uprated IC, which I don't have yet, BTW my car was the donor car for stage 2 development, I'm still awaiting funds to do the IC upgrade, and I'm still waiting for Revo to call me regarding the stage 2+ code.... As regards the K1, they've been having problems with a misfire with 08 cupras on stage 1 code... BTW, Horace, have you posted your graph yet ? I'm keen to compare results...

No logs or RR done as yet. But i've got a RR day next weekend and the weekend after that is the Awesome RR day.

So far though it spools far smoother than before, and it pulls much better and feels less laboured doing it. Whether it's increased the figures or not, we'll have to see. But we can look at the software again in due course.

But for the moment very happy with it. Shame you can't see it though, it's hard to believe their is a big fat IC under all that.

Pic here from below, with the lower pipes attached.

Pretty tight fit in there. How long did they take to do it?

Well Jim did it himself, so twice as long as it should of done. He's out of practice you see, usually feet on the desk browsing Ebay.

But I don't mind he's methodical and does a good job. :) Nothing was left over anyway. :D
