Long time no see matey, how is the car? 230bhp huh, 14.43 1/4 times! Come on abit since we were at JBS when yours was standard and mine had a remap, think you could keep up now then?

T.Spark hows tricks mate ? im good i got a company car towards the start of the year and havent spent a penny on mods since apart from the unavoidable like tax & mot.
Could i keep up with urs ? dunno geez what figures u running ? i saw somewhere that you've done some serious strippage.

And cheers might be changing the alloys once winters over but not too sure yet

Do it mate, we had our 1.2's and then all ended up with PD130's less than a year later! lol.

Its added near on 100bhp to mine haha!!

Id say those are summer wheels, and get some standardish ones for winter lol!!

Do you have a slip for your time? that was my best of the day but id like to see what a similar power (albeit petrol) cars times are. What support mods do you have?

I had a 1.2 12v Fabia (same engine) as a Hire Car once, I loved the sound of it especially when you revved it, it sounded like a V6. It was very nippy around town and I got about 40mpg from it.

But compared to my vRS out of town it was very underpowered, when you put your foot down it just made a noise and didn't do much, although TBH I did prefer that sound compared to my Diseasel.

i have a 1.2s. im fitting an induction kit but i dont know what size hose to buy to connect the cone filter to the thing that sucks in all the air under the engine cover. does anybody know? its on the top right of the engine and it connects to the factory airbox on the engine cover. any ideas? thank you.

Anyone noticed a sudden mechancial jolt if they lift straight off the throttle at low speeds?

I'm learning to drive atm, and was following slow traffic and noticed this, generally only in 1st or 2nd gear..

is this just a characteristic? or something i should get checked out?

P.S, still loving the uno dos, going for the FR look now with wheels and grills etc.. just don't get tempted to try and street race

Yeah I get the same matey usually happens at high revs...... just something to get used to, or slip it into a higher gear
