hi guys, i`ve noticed a slight miss on the car. only really in 1st & 2nd! you set off from the lights with only tickleing the accel then i quick miss or flat spot then away! its right. can do it also coming off the motorway, when u accel away from roundabout after motorway. any answers would be great! cheers.

sounds simular to wha happens to my car fella, sounds dull but does it sometimes feel as if youv taken foot of clutch to quick? cant work out wha is up with mine as of yet but know she cant be pushing out the proper bhp.

i know what u mean yeah, i find it hard to drive smooth some times when in traffic. i do feel i`m getting the full bhp from it tho, as when i open her up o shes moves ha!

I get the same on my 53 plate mate. Dont think its clutch related, just a moments hesitation at low revs, usually around 2000, but only on light throttle. Give it boot full and no probs! But you cant do that everywhere.
This problem seems to affect lots of ppl on here, but I still not found a solution!

yep thats the same as mine!! thats alright then, its not just me ha. defo 2k revs & when u boot it like u said no probs at all!

yeah mines started doing aswell, just every so often, think it can go back to the garage for them fix under warranty if its the coilpacks lol

My 03 LCR does this, but only with very light throttle and under 2k revs when the engine is cold. But when you give it some throttle it goes!

So is this definitely coil pack syndrome? I seem to be running quite rich too, but could be maf or lamba. Need to get it on vagcom I think.

also noticed on mine aswell that when you're boosting hard and change gear between 2000 - 3000 rpm that it almost feels like a sudden jolt, like turbo stopping?

Anyone else have this?

Could be a few things, does sound like a possible coilpack issue starting up. Could be linked to MAF, coolant temp sensor, DV or even bad fuel. Has anyone done any fault code checks?

well the EML light hasn't come on so wouldn't have thought there'd be any codes would there?

I had this until.......I fitted a Forge007p.

Never had it since, so I guess it was my crappy bosch DV.

did wonder if that might have caused that, but still possible coilpack problem with the hesitation at light throttle.

hhmmm.... i was thinking coil pack! now could be bosch dv. mines had no lights on dash & been plugged into vag & nothing! so i`m still no wiser....

I had this until.......I fitted a Forge007p.

Never had it since, so I guess it was my crappy bosch DV.

I have a 007p, only a month or so old (and yes it's properly fitted), but it still has symptoms mentioned above.

mine does it too guys, cant find anyhting though so just living with it. i think a remap wouldnt go a miss on ti.
