My Mk4 Ibiza TDI Sport 130...

Despite the rain today I fitted my new Cupra rear bumper... I'm really happy with the look of it but the colour match is ever so slightly out - as per usual.

I'm toying with the idea of a respray but might leave that until next year.

The exhaust needs re-aligned, you can see from this photo how much it is out from where it should be.

So what I'm not sure about now is, should I debadge the back or not? I am going to fit the genuine TDI badges under the indicators so people would still know what model it is ... I don't like the big "IBIZA" badge on the boot and want to stay clear of it looking like a run of the mill facelift model where possible - If I did go with the big IBIZA badge though itwould look different with black instead of chrome? Hmm...

Thanks... the exhaust is filthy, I have some Meguires NXT waiting to clear it up but I'll wait until its all lined up perfectly.

I'd have fitted a short plate at the back the same as I have done at the front, but there are two holes in the bumper where the previous owned had screwed his plates on. :(

Heres a comparison photo.

Chris - I actually hate you.

They look SO good! I want one.....

LoL! They do indeed. :)

Thats a big improvement how much did the bumper set you back? Think it's Coilovers for me next though!

The bumper cost me £150 delivered with the lower diffuser part... I paid another £6.50 for a set of reflectors for it.

How is the weather down there now? It's sunshine here at the moment! [:@]

Thats alot cheaper than i though bth.

The weather...clouds are making way for blue Sky's and sunshine atm  - typical!

Was going to give the car a clay and full clean but my wheels would only just get covered in break dust :help:

LoL - I've got a lot of things to do so I'm still using my car like a van until next weekend I think.

I paid £150 on top of the price of the bumper to have it sprayed (What is the closest) to my colour.

Looking good Chris! Nice to see that you have put the plate the right way up too ;)
Can't believe the sun is out now considering I have been out and about in the pouring rain today! [:@]

Less of that about the plate you! :p

The weathers got a lot better now, hopefully it keeps up tomorrow (It's meant to) and I can do my oil and filter change. :)

I did mate, I meant to go to that guy too... Scott was telling me at the cruise in Irvine.

We'll see what happens next year with a respray, my friends brother runs a bodyshop up in Glasgow and said he would do a full down rub, prime, spray and laquer for a good price so I might consider that. :)
