I'd imagine that'd be particially down to the fact that the Ibiza was diesel = much heavier engine.

Also - because the Leon is longer track length, that'd mean it should be better handling. :)

I put it down to the ibiza being average at best in the handling stakes. The grip is there, but the rest that makes a great handling car isnt sadly. Also the leon has fully independant rear suspension. The ibiza doesnt.

They're quite good, aren't they? :)
:D Go and test drive one.

The Ibiza is ok it just doesn't feel planted, in reality you can push it a lot further than you think.

I saw your K1 when I left the showroom on Saturday - very nice.
Shame I had just signed my documents for my new FR.....:funk:

Glad you like.....it certainly is a nice set of wheels.

Nice motor Steve. Just don't let the missus loose on it with those alloys!
Look forward to seeing it in the flesh and the next elusive local meet.

Thanks Adam, She's already asking when she can drive it.

At the moment the excuse is I'm still running it in. Don't know if I can play that out for 3 years.

Me too! Nice one Steve

Still uglier than the mk1 though :p

Thanks mate, I will bring it up to the next meet, just waiting for someone else to arrange it.

PS I thought tolly was doing it this time, but she's probably busy looking after StuC.

Imagine my lack of surprise... ;)

There is a lad on here with a Black K1 with black wheels that looks so different from the rest of the Aero kitted cars and K1's.

White with black wheels seems to be the one everyone goes for though.

If I were to get a new Seat, and believe me it's tempting I would get the K1 in white.
I would probably get it in black with the white wheels, cause I love the look of a black car. I've got my sight set on a new motor next year so at the moment I'm focusing on that.

When I use the word 'focusing' it's not a Focus btw

Won't be going to a mk2, can't really afford it without going on finance. I hate finance and don't want to dump a large amount of cash into the LCR, tempting as it is. Instead I'm looking for a project to do and found something very tasty which I will be looking to start next year.
