Did you use it while you were driving the car. If you got warranty get them to sort it out

Common problem, it doesn't actually need that little bit to work, just stops your drink rattling around.

Probably about the same time as mine broke to start with Still not done anything about it. Not sure anything can be done though!?

No mine bust some time ago, still holds my coffe on the motorway, so not problems.

The supid thing broke on mine! the stealers charged £24+vat for a new cup holder cos the guy said they dont sell that part seperatly

Ah the dreaded cup holder. lol Seat had to put a new one in my car 3 times under warranty cause the wee spring broke.

In my case Im near sure it was putting bottles in the cup holder (not cans) that broke my spring.

If the springs popped out you'll probably find the wee plastic knob thingy has broke off that keeps it in. Thats what happened on my mine all those times.
