If were having a competition I actually published the entire article on SCN's website and hour earlier after receiving it from SEAT. But I don't do it for one-upmanship, its an honour that were recognised as the no1 SEAT fanbase.

SCN was founded a good year or so before SEAT entered into UK Motorsport. However SEAT Sport under Scott's leadership kindly made every effort to involve us as supporters and enthusiasts over the past 6 years. SCN as we know is not confined to our support of SEAT in motorsport. But SEAT leaving UK motorsport closes a chapter on SCN too. However where that ends another chapter will no doubt begin in this site's long success and SEAT too.

Wow. What a day it turned out to be!! Shame Seat couldnt have done better than they did, but hay ho!!
Just want to say also that its the 1st meet at Brands that i felt part of a group. Not sure if it was the way we where roped off from the riff raff , or that we all came together for one last time for Seat.
But it was good!

I have some pics on my Facebook page, if anybody interesetd?

Thanks again you guys... Man, really cant believe that Seat Sport UK are no more. Am gutted!!

From SEAT Sport's website gossip page.

Brands Hatch once again saw a great turnout from the guys and girls of seatcupra.net, proudly putting their cars on display surrounded by some splendid flags. They certainly put other car owners to shame in terms of dedication…and of course, taste. Thanks for your support seatcupra.net!

Well what a big day out! Obviously disappointing finish on the track but it was a fantastic turnout from SCN and an amazing atmosphere as we said our farewells to the team. From Alan Hyde's trackside commentary I think we made our presence felt ;) ......"SEAT owned Southbank today". Some good shots of us on the TV as well.

Massive thanks to all the usual suspects particularly to the Marks, F2Stu and all the Barmy Army for everything they've contributed all season, and an excellent effort for the charities to boot.

As others have pointed out the cameraderie, the catering :drunk: and the laughs mean that we can certainly keep on enjoying our days at the races even without a factory team to support.

On a positive note I spoke to some key players with CVR and their sponsors on Saturday, and they are already in communication with SCN and interested in what they might be able to do for the potential fanbase that we offer. They seem enthusiastic and well organised and are hoping for some tangible support from SEAT although they clearly need further sponsorship on board.

I felt they really are giving it their best shot to get a two car team running next year and assured them that if it has the Seat S on the front they will find plenty of us willing to cheer them on. I'm sure after yesterday they will have no doubt of the impact that a mass of cheering fans can have

See you next year!
