Aint got a clue what you mean front and rear
Im on about the handles on the door

And the bump strips just below the handles

Yeh - the door mouldings. The black bits under the handles on your sig pic. That's the part numbers for them....

Two front ones = one each side (drivers door + passenger door = 2 doors) = 2 front ones

Two rear ones = one each side (drivers rear quarter + passenger rear quarter = 2 moudlings) = 2 rear ones.

Get me? :D

Oh I bought it as a project from salvage. I repair a lot of salvage cars, just as a weekend thing. Brings in a lot of money, and I enjoy learning from it etc. But I intend to keep the Ibiza for at least a year probably longer. It's not as bad as it sounds really, I have some pics I'll upload of the car. I need the new door, because the salvage company damaged that themselves when they were loading it on the recovery truck. But yea was just wondering if I got the part numbers at my brother in law, who's a master tech for VW to check out the prices direct from dealers with his discount... Would it work out cheaper and faster than going to a breaker.

Not a bad idea mate. I work in the vehicle repair trade. Do it half 8 til half 5 everyday. It's certainly rewarding to see the cars come in smashed to shite and then go out like new again.

I'd like to do this in my spare time too and make some money but it's all about knowing people in the trade that'll get the parts for you cheap - and storing the car while you work on it.

Lol I'm lucky in that sense, my cousin runs a massive storage company which is 3 floors high. So there's always cars coming and going in and out of the place.
