Front bumper/grill and Fog lights
Front Badge,
Front Head lights L and R
Back Bumper
Passenger front door (5 door size)
Left Front Panel
Air Con rad
Radiator kit
Sorry I know its a lot!
Anyone got any prices and part numbers for;
Primed door handles
Primed rub/bump strips
Well just black ones then
Two front ones:
6L3853515B9B9 - RRP = £6.38
6L3853516B9B9 - RRP = £6.38
Two rear ones:
6L3853535B9B9 - RRP = £2.26
6L3853536B9B9 - RRP = £2.26
These are for 3 door Mk4 Ibiza's.
Aint got a clue what you mean front and rear
Im on about the handles on the door
And the bump strips just below the handles
Sounds like a bad accident! You alright mate or bought it as a project?
Oh I bought it as a project from salvage. I repair a lot of salvage cars, just as a weekend thing. Brings in a lot of money, and I enjoy learning from it etc. But I intend to keep the Ibiza for at least a year probably longer. It's not as bad as it sounds really, I have some pics I'll upload of the car. I need the new door, because the salvage company damaged that themselves when they were loading it on the recovery truck. But yea was just wondering if I got the part numbers at my brother in law, who's a master tech for VW to check out the prices direct from dealers with his discount... Would it work out cheaper and faster than going to a breaker.
Not a bad idea mate. I work in the vehicle repair trade. Do it half 8 til half 5 everyday. It's certainly rewarding to see the cars come in smashed to shite and then go out like new again.
I'd like to do this in my spare time too and make some money but it's all about knowing people in the trade that'll get the parts for you cheap - and storing the car while you work on it.
