How long have you owned your Leon and how much spent?

Does anyone ever sit back and think christ, if i hadn't spent that on my car i could have......

Got pissed all weekend and had some organ failure from it........

Na! I prefer to spend money and have something to show for it. Car mods come before holidays for me at the mo,

Had my FR for about 6 months and spent almost £2k buying stuff (alloys, bumpers, black interior trim / headliner etc. front & rear Recaro's...) to make it an R look-a-like...

Then I bought the real thing!

Had my LCR almost 3 years now, probably spent £3 - 4k on mods over the years... plus about the same again on usual wear & tear stuff like brakes, servicing, tyres & tax, insurance...

If I decide to keep it a while longer (probably will!) I can see another £3 - 4k being spent, BT conversion maybe...

I blame SCN... if I hadn't discovered this forum, I probably still wouldn't even know what a remap was! lol

Had my LCR 2 years before finding this place.
My sig details what I've bought in the last 6 weeks.

got it at the start of this summer

spent abour 2 and a half grand on the car

1 grand on the sound system,
the rest on parts,clutch,induction kit etc.

5 grand on the IHI turbo kit ( fitted ) , 1 grand on the suspention ( coilovers and arb's ) 2 grand on clutch ,flywheel and quaife diff ,1 grand on 2 sets of wheels , 1 grand on brembo GT kit and plenty more on other bits and bobs.

Only £300 for myself but im just starting out as ive had the LCR about 2 months now just green panel and fuel filter, stereo, plugs, caliper refurb, fabia wiper and a new splitter. Will rack up once my other cars finished

well theres a difference between retail for my equipment and what i paid for it too

i like ur taste,iv got myself;
Genesis amp too (4 channel)
Alpine Type S front components + tweeters
Alpine Type S 6x9s
Alpine Type X 12" sub
Alpine something or other head unit + dvd player
Alpine MDX something monoblock

and to power it all,iv got a
Yellow top battery
0 Gauge Wiring kit

and i need to invest in a power cap and a circuit breaker so it stops blowing fuses...

Had my LCR about 5 months done few mods not much but have about 1k ready to spend on mods within the next few months.

I have owned mine for around 4-5 months and spent around 1.5k - I don't intened to pay out loads of cash for mods anymore, as my last car I spent a fortune on it!

more cosmetic and things I needed but uprated -
4 new tires (good year)
Disc's and pads (uprated to EBC on front), OE on rear,
Full passenger side, bonnet, bumper re-sprayed,
All new window seals,
New anti-roll bars (uprated to neuspeed)
New engine mounts (uprated to poly bushs)
Boot lock solenoid

oh and the petrol! lol

Just over 3 months and don't want to think about it probably about £1500 so far. But plenty of plans to go just doing a little bit at a time as funds allow.
Thing is I'm modding the wifes Saxo at the same time (I love e-bay for the Saxo stuff) and spent about £800 on that as well.
