It's a bit of a trek from your neck of the woods all the way to Brands isn't it or are you busy elsewhere, i guess you'd not miss this without good reason!

4 hours roughly with a good wind on my back. Sadly I've got other commitments that weekend, work Saturday and family round Sunday. I'd already resigned myself to not making it to Brands this year.

Just a shame the announcement yesterday means SEAT won't be in it anymore. But I've got some great memories and friendships from the SEAT Sport team that go back to 2003. Even if i'm not there in body I'm there in spirit. I'll be sending lots of texts to Scott Dennis no doubt.

I'm sure everyone going down from SCN will give them loads of support.

Got a room at my place if it helps Z come down saturday go home monday

Thanks Mark, very kind of you to offer, but sadly I won't be able to make it down.

Barmy Army sleeper cell
By now I suppose you are all aware of the demise of SEAT Sport UK. A very sad day indeed.

I hope this doesn't put anyone off going to the last meet a Brands.

The SEAT 'Barmy Army' will be there at full strength on our charity drive, so please come and lend your support.

I really feel for the SEAT Sport UK team, lead so well by Scott Dennis.

I know they all must be absolutely devastated.

Sometime after race 3, it would be cool if we could all make our way to the fence line on South bay, opposite the Seat garages and start a chant for Seat.

If Scott, Jason, Darren or whoever comes out, we would give a massive cheer and applause to show our thanks for the pleasures and spectacles we have had from them over the years.

Its just a little parting gesture of respect for all there efforts.

Hopefully see you all a week on Sunday.

Ja Mein General!..... and if we actually get our cars on to the grass a South Bank how about getting as many of us as possible into them, and flashing lights and honking horns and flying the flags at a suitably co-ordinated and agreed time.

I like the SOS one straight to the point. I doubt I will be able to make this :( I will be watching it though so Im expecting a sea of yellow and fellow seat supporters to keep the side up. Still cant believe it :( The last time I felt this deflated was when I didnt get a lotsa legs for christmas.

Just a thought... Whats the chance of seeing if we could do a parade lap type thing??
I was at the DTM the other week and there was about a million old Mercs.... Is there any chance for that?
Or what would the chances be of going in to the Seat garages?? As it will be the last the the Seat crew will be there etc...

No more Seat in the Btcc or SCN. who would have thought.....
