I would be surprised of your standard ecu doesnt have an egt sensor rash. me7.5 does which is 2001 onward mk4 golf etc etc. I cant see one reason you need standalone. Your standard ecu can be mapped to run whatever with the right hardware.

Mk4 ibiza 1.8T can be tuned just as much as any other 1.8T be it in mk3 ibiza, leon, golf, tt, a3 etc etc

So how does it drive on the 19's?

Do you still put your foot down every now and again in the car?

Rash I am pretty sure you car runs an me7.5 ecu as it is a later 1.8t. If it does then it has an egt sensor as standard. You dont have a gauge or anything to read it from but the ecu gets told what the temp is and can adjust fuelling accordingly and jabba do this according to stewbies previous thread with his visit to them.

It is an ibiza so maybe seat junked it but the leons with me7.5 deffo have it.

Later mk4 golfs have it and they are k03s. You should have it on me7.5. JBS may have disconnected it or something but it should be there I think.

So where on a K03 does the EGT go?? I was only aware of it being fitted to later K04 cars with VVT and wideband lambdas with a 1mb ecu file. All K03 cars have a 500kb file.
