The standard seats have been replaced with red leather out of a 2005 Audi A3. It is not a retrim so the quality is extremely high (cost over £2K).

There are twin Defi gauges mounted in the driver a pillar that monitor both turbo boost pressure and oil pressure (cost £500).

Cupra R Handbrake – Black leather with red stitching.

Nokia Bluetooth hands free car kit hard wired into the car.

Exterior
Full Cupra R body kit dealer fitted from new (cost over £1.5K).

Tinted privacy glass at a cost of £400.

Unmarked 19" OZ Antares alloy wheels with 2 new Nankangs on the front and Toyo’s at the back (this wheel has long been discontinued so is very desirable and still sell for over £1K when you can find them).

Front bumper modified to expose the intercooler.

Honda S2000 Ariel

Fabia rear wiper

Mechanical
APR ECMS Switchable ECU. This allows a series of ECU programs to be selected via the cruise control, selectable even when driving!! All fitted by APR themselves. Currently the programs installed are Normal, Unleaded, and Super Unleaded, which give selectable power from 180bhp to 250bhp. (Cost £800)

Porsche turbo front brake callipers in yellow with 14.1" custom front discs. Rears up rated to 12" to match, and brake fluid changed to match (£2K).

APR down pipe and sports Cat mated to a Milltek sports exhaust system, which produces a very nice exhaust note without been over the top (£1K).

Neuspeeed cold air induction system.

Engine mounts up rated to polyurethane.

B&M Short Shifter.

H&R lowering springs.

Sound System / ICE

THIS IS OPTIONAL I THINK – There is over £1k of stuff here.

to be honest you've got some quite nice mods in/on the car and theres no way you'll get there value by selling them with the car. You'd be better off returning certain things to standard and then selling i.e. the wheels, Defi gauges, seats

Its just the hassles of replacing them. Not to fussed about selling at the mo, would only sell if the price is right.

I'd say that you'd get about £8000 at the very most. People don't like paying alot for a pre modified car, not unless there is someone out there looking specifically for what you are offering. It's a tough world, I lost sooo much on my Honda :(

I'd agree you are better off taking the mods off selling them seperatly and selling the car seperate.. You will end up with more money. Modding is a personal thing as said before and unless someone is looking for a specific modded car like yours then it will be difficult to shift..
On a side note i'd buy the brakes lol..

gonna be worth more to you than you will ever get for it unfortunately
what you have to ask yourself is would you be better off keeping it than letting it go for what your not happy with

just got to say it,i am knocking on the door of the big five o ,i have lost count of the thousands of pounds spent modding cars audis seats and imprezas to name a few .in my experience if you sell or px dealer then take mods off revert to standard car dealers dont like modded cars, private you got to hope for a like minded enthusiast, most wont trust you is it because youare fed up with car,as im sure you know moddifing a car aint every ones cup of tea.:(

There are quite a few LCRs on the market for sub 8k these days, and being standard they'll probably sell in preference to yours I'm afraid.

Start with your price of 8k, but be prepared for either a slow sale, or to drop the price until it attracts more attention.

250 bhp? mmm... id be very surprised!

mods usually add very little.
If you have priced up the mods at £10,000... they are now second hand so lets say £5,000..
then you take into account they they are not all 'additions' to the car (ie they have replaced stock parts so you need to take account the value is only that above a stock part).. so lets say £2500...
then they may not all be someones exact personal taste
then many people dont like modded cars as it infers its been well used etc etc..
so before you know it the £10,000 mods are only worth £1,000.
Then the fact its modded means the number of potential buyers is reduced..

you have too much free time to sit there and work that lot out ;)

I sold my 2003 LeonCupra (www.leoncupra.co.uk) for around £6000-£6400 back in February, and I couldn't get any more because it was modified. I did try starting at 7k, but had very little interest.
Good luck with the sale though - sounds like a nice car!

As above, you'd be better off buying stock parts to replace the modded stuff and then selling the modded stuff on ebay or wherever - you'll make more that way. I accept that most of what i have done will have no value at resale possibly even reducing value however i'm not selling :)

Unfortunately he/she was pulling wool over the eyes :(

You'd be VERY lucky to get 230bhp on a ko3s, but lets not get into arguements about pub figures.. :)

Actully that figure is easily achieved with the right mods why o why people keep going on about its not achievable I never understand. I am running two golfs at the moment with K03s's and both running over well over 230 on a k03s a simple search on Vortex UK-mkivs will show many others runing the same. Actually there is a chap running 261bhp on a k03s with a Jabba custom map with a printout...

I am talking from experiance and personal cars not hearsay either...
