Cool beans  - I have got to stop saying that ! I quite like the paint finish there on that. What happened to your gearbox ?

Hehe, its a good phrase though :)

Yeah, the paint job is pretty funky - I think if I had a second Arosa I might replicate it as a bit of a project.
My gearbox is still running, but it's stiff, crunchy and it whines, so I've got another one now which is going to get all the bearings, synchro mesh, selector bits and pieces and other stuff replaced, then fitted along with a new clutch to make it all lovely to drive again :D

I now have cruise control on my rosa TDI!!! :D:D:D:D

Needs a bit of finishing, i need to get the correct indicator stalk as im using a spare heated rear window button (with the catch removed so its just a push button now) in place of one of the blacks atm.

Still, its a nice thing to have :D

its execllent thanks :D. bodywork is perfect, no stone chips etc. Gave it a good olde polish and wax yesterday, removed the rear badges, cleaned the engine bay, though it didnt really need it  and put the fog lights in. The old one wentlast nite which was very sad :( lol.
The 1.4 handles motorways alot better though

Any pics of the new one Mike?

That sounds like quite a find you have there! Not many around in that colour, let along a manual 1.4 (8v is it? or sport?) and low mileage too! Nice!

Wohoo ! I have 2 new tyres after much messing about :( The 1st 2 I ordered were nowhere to be found at the suppliers so the man at the tyre place rang around and got me some yokohama S-Drive tyres for the same price :D wohoo !! Need camber bolts though as the camber is way out - my other tyres had gone down to the wires on the inside :(
