Don't like black badges.
Just like the S, think it bring the front end out a bit, just looks rubbish with a black badge IMHO, maybe black badge with the lines or the outside of the S painted the same colour as the car?
I am not a fan of black S badges. Like BCM said it brings out the front better.

I just painted the rear badge on mine black, the front is debadged. To be honest I'm not too happy with it - you cant really see it properly. I've decided I'm gonna do a thin red outline around the edges to make it "pop" a bit more. Will keep you all posted if I ever get round to it...

Nearly forgot to say - the whole reason for the thread - Yes, I like the white S with black round the edges, I think it looks nice in the pics but would prolly look even better in person.

Heres a description of an interested alternative I saw on a leon Cupra at harewood at the weekend, couldn't get pics though (camera malfuntion arrgh!!) The 'S' parts of the badge had been cut out leaving a kind of outline,it did look quite cool, wish i could have got pick, does anyone know who's it was?

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that is on the honeycomb style grilles - the chrome badge can be separated from the black plastic. I saw loads like that at E38 last year.

not sure about the honeycombe, but is it definately can be on the lcr grille - the chrome s is just clipped in.
