ive got an update SHES ALIVE 
new wheels
18" 8.5j
intercooler hosing is complete and its transformed the engine bay. got my boost pipe back from the ali welder on friday really should help the airflow out because the old boost pipe was pretty pants!
also the strut brace has been modifyed with an added bracket to hold my engine torque damper and has also been re powdercoated. fitted that all in and it looks great and will also solve my engine movement problems.

yep sfs got a great deal on all them hoses! loads left over as well! just need to get some tyres! not sure what to go for
215/35 with stretch to give me a tiny bit more arch space or go 225 dont want too much strech like on my golf because they wont suit this style of wheel so much. the advert for these wheels did say they where 8j which was pushing it in the first place so when i found out they were actually 8.5 i was like ahhhh! but the other side of me thought they will look schweet if i can get them not to rub! but i do feel some sort of arch work on the way! should look fabulous on the car!

Can you blow arches out on the ibiza, would you dare to use Nova ones
I wouldn't go stretched and if needs be i'd raise it to accomodate proper tyres then you can drive it normally. I'd need a heartrate monitor if i was you, to check i wasn't dying each time i approached a speedbump!
I'm running the new Eagle F1 Asymmetrics on the front now, not cheap but they definitely do the job - remains to see how they wear although with autumn coming, i'll be slowing down a tad for the greasy months
However they will look lovely once they're on!

As you said, you just want a little bit of stretch! Are they just wheels for show or daily? I was thinking would stretched tyres be ok at high speeds? (not that you exceed 70 on teh highway of coarse)

)strech is fine ive got pretty mental strech on the golfand that has been thrown around at times and never had a problemand tyres havent lost pressure so
but these will get a tiny bit of strech me thinksmore for the rubbing issues than the strech look!

do you mean the damper itself or the strut brace bracket? the strut brace bracket that you can see in that picture isnt the best! its an inch thick corner bracket welded onto the strut brace itself with thick weld whick has then been belt sanded flat so i could then weld a thick top plate ontop which is 1cm thich which has then been covered in thick weld underneith and all over the top! it doesnt show the HUGE THICK weld around the back underneither or on the side so it does look flimsy but if you get to see it imsure you will agree its enough 
them ch's look sccchhhhhwwwet my man! loving the look of the bay too im still to change my opinion about them beingn 18's though....still think its gonna look too big...ill wait for my opinion to be confirmed or not well done rash!! !
