Thought your power figures seemed a bit strange. Bit much for standard but not enough for mapped.

I know. I have been quoted a custom map for 190bhp and 325ft/lb :D

Bell wanted £30 for me to have 'lowered suspension' £30 for a front strut brace and £20 for alloys but if you have a crash they will replace all with standard.

I have just filled out a form on Bell online for insurance - £1300 for my car with wheels and exhaust. Thats 19 with 2 years, 8 months ncb, Full UK license with pass plus! :-o

I thought they were meant to be cheap!?

Think its because exhausts are seen as a bit of a n*bhead mod by insurance due to the bad boy racers in there corsas, as were lowering isnt for some reason.

Sounds about right. There are kids around our area with performance enhancing mods undeclared and were not talking a remap or a filter. Were talking different engines that arent declared.

This is gonna start an insurance argument I'm sure but I dont think remap are air filter are particularly traceable. And dont think a £30 air filter should be declared if they add £50 say on your premium - there's no point! I'll PM you mate - gone a bit off topic. ;)

see im 19 2 years with a license and 1 years no claims, no convictions speeding tickets etc (just did a year with mum) and my first year on the ibiza was 1485 with brentacre(i am owner and ONLY driver on this policy). This includes every mod you can imagine done on the pd130 apart from a remap and big power gains e.g. turbo. I can get her running 250bhp insured but i just have to pay the premium, which they work out for example 10bhp = 100 pounds, depending how far your into your policy. (note this is just an example).

But anything like exhaust, coilovers, fmic, arbs, struts, inductions, all free of charge woop.
