Most of us think of Leon's (Cupra) central console as a very boring piece of this car. Well today I received - straight from US - the full kit of real carbon fiber interior trims, for Leon and Leon Cupra. I must say the quality surpasses/overshadows any amount of money I had to pay to bring it to Greece. The package contains/covers everything as shown to the following diagram

Here are some photos just as I received it - and I must say - they do not pay justice to the real thing.

I apologise for not removing the covering sheet completely as the car may take some time to arrive and I want them protected to the original packaging.

The kit came perfectly packed and accompanied with instructions and glues, all from 3Μ.

I repeat this is real carbon fiber and not carbon fiber look. I must say I am a very happy bunny, one of the best buys I did even before getting my car :D

PS. This is a Left Hand drive kit but there is a Right Hand drive kit as well.

Ah ok, sorted then.

I contacted them for the possibility of club/group buy and a discount. I'll wait for their answer.

not wanting to put a downer on anything.. but isnt this just teh same as a crappy vynal covering kit you get from halfords but instead its gluing on to the plastic proper carbon fibre??? Or it is a remove all Plastic i.e deface the stereo and re fit with the new bit to give a factory fit?

My Cupra (will be) white so I believe it will be a sporty combination carbon fiber and white car with possible black or gun metal wheels. Leon Cupra is a sporty car and carbon fiber matches well IMO. They do a lot of colours and materials. Initially I was for real brushed aluminum but then changed to real carbon fiber.

I have the same thoughts and fears like some of you have but I believe it will be 100% better than the boring plastic panel.

I like the idea of the real brushed aluminium, but I'd have to see a photo of it in a car to be sure.

The example photo of the wood looks awful, I wish they'd used a non-wooden example.

Also, is that dash a non-dualzone climate control? There are knobs instead of buttons..... (Would hate to fins out that the US version has different climate controls to us!)

I spotted that to, but if you look at the diagram provided that he posted up it looks like the center panel is made for the eu market

I think this is just one of those vinyl kits - like others have said they can look pap... Looking at that wood example, you can still see the grey around the vents - I wouldn't want that at all. Its things like that which make it look like a Halfrauds bit of stick on tat.

I agree, the photos on their site are awfull, they do not promote the reality nor the quality. Americans prefer these wild bright color trims or wooden trims that's why they show mostly wooden trims.

In any case They sell a dualzone climate control and a non-dualzone kit. If you search the site you'll find it, just look at the schematic.

One thing regarding the climate control: I think the Leon (Cupra) is not available in the US thus the pattern is based on european cars. I am not 100% sure but I think this is the case.

I didnt think that SEAT was sold in the US. I know its an American website but perhaps they stock the major worldwide car brands.

I'll be interested to see photos of the actual kit fitted - I know ebay have quite a lot of similar packages, but they are normally a fraction of the price, and probably a fraction of the quality.
