Same with everthing you pay for what you get im afraid. i would say thats fiberglass and you will have to drill all the mounting holes etc etc so fitting will take the cost up to near enough a o/e one.

id not recommend replica fibre glass bumpers.

There was an exact copy to this thread about 3 days ago.

They dont fit well, so take ages to get to fit, then when you hit a speed bump they may crack.

There is one on ebay with all the parts required, sprayed silver, looks great... 'never fitted'. you have to wonder what they spent all this time and effort then didnt fit...

I don't suppose anyone has any photos of a Cupra with the Cupra R front bumper?

I'm tempted to replace mine as soon as I hit an aggressive speed hump/badger/fox. Comparing the 2 rear bumpers it would seem like a waste to replace it with the Cupra R but I wanted to know if someone had done the same already.

Having looked over eBay those fibreglass copies do look a tad dodgy :p there are the odd OE bumpers that pop up though :)

The Cupra R front bumper takes years off the car!

If possible..... stay away.

The OEM bumper is already quite a nasty fitting... the FG ones are much more difficult.

Ive had one.. sold it ... and the bloke has sold it too...

Seems like its a very hard fitting near the lights.

Plus ... Grilles + Spraying + Fitting = more or less the price of a used LCR Front.

And dont forget.. FG is fragile...
