yeah i bought one. great things. usb and sd card built in. also support wma's now.
only pro blem i had is that everytime i got a new text on my phone it stoped the music! which was annoying. solved this by moving the usb pen to another location away from the centre section. its now under my steering wheel

guys, just fitted this thingy yesterday,,, two things I'm really pissed about:

-when a track starts the volume fades in,,, I mean a track starts and the volume is very low at first then after a fraction of a second it becomes normal,,, this s*cks bad,,,
-I can't search thru a track I mean on the HU manual it says that if you keep the track forward button pressed, it should fast forward thru the track,,, well mine goes to next track regardless of if I press the button once or if I keep it pressed,,,

do your units do the same?

Indeed, I forgot to say that I got the USB/SD version,,, it just emulates the 6 CD's of the charger

well I guess that you don't get those problems cos you change tracks and forward thru the single track via the iPod right?

Anyone who knows if is`s posible to connect a ipod through the usb conection or is it only possible through the minijack?
I`m thinking of buying one, but not sure if I want the ipod or the mp3 version.

I don't think you can connect the ipod on the usb port,,, I mean, physically you can do that, but IIRC the ipod isn't "seen" by the pc as a normal usb drive so the same goes for the xcarlink,,, you could anyway connect it via the minijack and control it with its own controls,,, if I was you I'd buy the ipod interface since you could control the ipod via the headunit which is much cleaner imho,,,
on the other hand, if you listen to TONS of music like I do you might use more than one pen drive and have a nice flexibility and interchange between mp3 sets,,,
