Mine's also been on the back of a low loader when the diff bolts gave up

Angle grinder to the old joint ?? it's worked for me before, worst case your gonna possibly kill the driveshaft your already expecting to replace
To be fair I thought the same thing when mine was on the back of the tow truck aswell.
i thought about that, but by the time i saw it it was shagged from us hitting it with a sledge hammer lol.
better to replace it anyway, need new driveshaft bolts anyhoo
