I collected my new charge pipe yesterday had a free evening today, so could think of no better way to spend it than trying bits for size.

One thing lead to another, and after a few hours, cut arms and hands it was fitted:)

I'm super happy. Just need to shine up the rest of the pipework and all's good!

Not the best pictures as it was getting dark but here you go:

Got started on my battery relocation today.

My new Gel battery is fixed in the boot, cables are all in, just waiting for some connectors to arrive then it's just a case of connecting it all up!

I'll get some pictures tomorrow.

is that a tactical move ie space for something else??

Yeah, i'm going to move the air filter into the wing more, taking some of the space and then get a decent catch tank bolted in instead of my ribena bottle!

Sounds like your getting along better than me mate

My todo list just keeps getting bigger

I had to take the rear bumper off to bolt the battery on, but it looks pretty sweet! Just hope it's big enough to power it!

More just keeps getting added to my list:)

looks very oem mate, like it alot

forced induction mk2s ftw :funk:

Cheers :)

I hope not. I've got for the same set up i've seen on another car, including the battery and his ran fine, so fingers crossed.

If i do have problems then i'll just get a bigger battery, not a problem!

I will just say what everyone else has. The car looks great. Cant believe how clean the engine and bay actually is!!

And I have to agree, it does look very oem. It looks like that car could have came out the factory like that.

And what surgery would that be?? :p Sounds like someone has something, or a few things up there sleeves.
