Just thinking about cupra skirts....do they just attach over current bit that sits under the door? Simple to fit?
yes they do and sort of lol. They are easy to fit, but i find mine arent a great fit, so want to get some sort of advhesive pads to make them flush. Cheap red set on ebay right now i think or on this forum
i wouldnt be too sure as havent got mine colour coded yet (2 weeks till back with the car!! ). But i have mucked around on photoshop loads and think they look fine. Plus the difference they seem to add once the same colour of the car is immense

Chris, I was looking at your upgrading lights thread, and noticed I have the same single H4 type headlights that you have yet my was registered April 2002, so in theory I should have one with the H7 type ones that Mat has.
Not really complaining as I don't plan to get HID's but was just wondering what the logic for this would be.

Just because it was REGISTERED in 2002, doesn't mean it couldn't be built before then

My other theory is that is was involved in a minor collision and the previous owner replaced both sets of headlamps with the older type because second hand ones were cheaper.
Im thinking this because the drivers wing has been resprayed at some point as there was an outline of paint left when i took off the chill badges on the wings. Also there some over spray on the front grille.
Lol im making a big deal out of nothing but was just interested in why my car had what are apparently older style lights. Also i think the twin style ones look better though it's hardly noticable.

I've discovered recently that my car's got some hidden history!!
Was changing the front door speakers and the drivers door is completely different to passenger one and is a right state internally... as this is the side of car with a few dents from previous owner i reckon they had some kind of crash there...
and i gave car a good old clean and wax yesterday and I noticed for the first time (taken me over a year to notice!!!) that both my front and back bumpers are orangey and the drivers door is slightly compared to rest of car, looks awful!!!!
I think I really need to spend a good few days t-cutting it! lol

sorry to hear that mate. Did u get an HPI check done at any point? Though if it was never recorded i guess thatd be of no use.
Yeah did when bought the car, but if had been in crash then i guess nothin was reported!
Tell you what is a bit weird though, is that on most websites and things when i put my reg number in it comes up sayin my car is a 3door, when it's a 5 door which is a bit worryin
Doesn't sound like if it was in a crash that it was reported, because if it was then it probably would have been fixed properly, but then maybe not if they were only insured 3rd party...
well, it feels like it was fixed properly.... but looks like it was done low cost without insurance involved or somethin.
would t-cutting the car stop the door and bumpers from being a bit orangey then? or would I need to spray it???
