This is the best project ever. and mostly because there is always so much progress going on. Every week there is a new thing. To start off with when you said you'll get a respray in the jade green again, I though "noooooooooo" as I didn't really like the colour. But as the project progresses and I keep clicking back and looking at it, its getting better and better. Even if it was dragon green or magic black it wouldn't look as good as it does now in the Jade.

Can't wait to see the beast at E38 this year (you best be going there Rash)

Just wait and see what it wins at Edition mate. ;) After being down and seeing stuff last year, its deffinently up there with the best of them.

Also, i bet some of these guys never managed to do all the work themselves. You've got the pictures to detail that its all your own work.

thanks for the extra nice comment mate :) nice to know other people like what im doing!

trev i got the g60 arches off ebay i got side skirts and all 4 arches which were all brand new apart from the front two arches for £150 which i think is a bargain not overly exspensive from the dealer actually but best off looking on the good ol ebay!

dario your mates mk2 golf sounds nice you got any pics? ive never driven my car on the new ride height so it willl settle more than what on in the pics and if i dont get any rubbing ect (which i doubt i will) il go lower but for now this will do ;)

no progress to update on really ive now rubbed down ALL the black plastics (tops of bumpers arches and side skirts) and resprayed the hole lot again as the n?s rear arch was a diffrent colour for some reason but its all been done and it looks SO much better!

bonnet now shuts nicely and doesnt foul

tomorrow im going to do a few more bits to her no doubt will update pics asap!

thanks again for all the comments!

The seats look a bit snug! But then with that engine you'll need some supportive seats! :D

The bay looks snug too but REALLY tidy! I'd love to hear it running! :D

Nice work lad!

This may be really dense but why does the drivers seat have the "foldy catch" beside the the hand brake, should this not be on the opposite side? Or do you have 2 passenger seats?

Rest of the car looks great though

I think recaro's have them on both sides.

The car looks spot on though! What are the rear seats from?

I think it's so the driver can tilt the seat without reaching over so people can get in the back - they have them on both sides of the seat I think.

They look like Mk4 Golf....

they have fold down leavers on both sides of the seats not sure why but as said above is very handy letting passengers in!

the rear seats are out of a vw corrado and i think they match the front seats a treat but they do need a bit of black dye on the grey bits as the fronts have black outside edge and the rears have grey but it will get delt with

ad lav I WILL NOT do your golf no!
