Realised that I've never actually put my car in here yet! Only got pics that are on my comp at the moment, but will get some better ones up asap!

My car is a Seat Ibiza 1.4 mk3 in Flame Red.

What I've done so far:
  • 17inch Bk racing alloys
  • k&n induction kit
  • red colour coded door grab handles
  • very very bright white led sidelights
  • philips extreme power headlights
  • sony xplod front door speakers
  • chrome 'surfer' badge
What I plan to do:
  • lower springs
  • cupra bumpers
  • new alloys, maybe 16s
  • back box
  • gut out original air box and fit instead of induction kit
PICS :)

looks good, its goin in the right direction and well done for having a stab at a 5door...fresh!

i agree with 16's.....17's look just a tad large

i wouldnt bother with a back box though waste of hard earned ££ get a nice wee stainless system on it, maybe a custom hidden tailpipe? just an idea!

anyway gd stuff :)

cheers for the comments mate.

not usually a big fan of the mk4s... but yours looks really smart! nice job!

i'm really lovin my 5door model as everyone else seems to have the 3door and i'm not a big fan of 'going with the flow' i like to be different :D

yeah i've also heard that the car reacts better to lowering when 16s are on and not 17s. thinking of maybe some white 16s, not sure yet though!

not got enough money i don't think for a full exhaust system, tad expensive aren't they?

looking good mate, few suggestions...

-16s rather than 17's imo
-Lower if you have funds (coilies or suspension kit, not just springs as I hear it's a disaster)
-Colour code mirrors and door handles
-Nice exhaust (I would suggest just back box, cos mine cost me half of what a full system would have, still sounds great, looks great and lifetime warranty.)

cheers for the comments fellow 1.4 owner :D

am on the look out for some used 16s now. any suggestions on what colour or style?

I have the funds for another set of alloys, colour coding, and a remus back box which i could get for £150. don't think could afford a full system, unless there's one for about £200, which i doubt it!

I'm thinking of getting some lower springs, then save up a bit, and get decent suspension kit, i've heard that for 6 months to a year just havin lower springs should be ok, but any longer then will **** up shocks, dampers etc.

I wouldn't recommend springs then full kit later on. Just save the £60/£70+ and put that towards the full kit, plus you're risking damaging something else which would cost more money to fix/replace. Go for a back box, some 16s and a suspension kit and see how she looks then :)

What does everyone reckon? Needed re-spraying, but thought I'd do something less boring than just black again!

saw it on a silver mk3 done in silver and it looked sweet

will be doing my gloss black some time

I thought about just doing black... but then thought what the hell!

the pics don't do it justice look better in 'real life' lol. looks smart with mine though coz it's 5 door i've done same to the back ones too!

I love it anyway!

ahhh yeh on a 5 door it probably would look better, infact it would look really well with a set of mats with a red edge and some other red details in the interior.

kudos for being different anyway!!!

That's just what i've got, black mates with red edging, then obviously there's the red on the seats, and thinkin about red seat belts from cupra r, then possibly some kind of red edging around centre console and a black gaitor for gear stick with red edging. not too over-powering in red, but i reckon will just finish off interior nicely.

and cheers, i love being different :) hence the five door model and not 3 like everyone else :funk:

I very nearly bought a 5 door cool/s untill i noticed the carpet in the passenger footwell looked a bit mouldy.

On closer inspection it was soaking wet, handbrake was also sticking, so I walked away from it, and bought my 3 door chill, which I liked better cos it had front fog lights even though I never use them.

Having said all that, if i had a pound for every time I could have done with 5 doors, I think I could afford to get my car lowered lol.

lol, yeah 5 doors comes in very handy, had a 3door toyota yaris as my 1st car and everyday it annoyed me that it was 3 doors!

i really really really want fog lights on it, looks crap without them, that's the only real niggle i had when buying this car!

hmmm I have no need for 5 door personally, obviosuly if you do, then 3 doors are nightmares. But I havent once,in all my 4 months and 1 day of owning my beeza, wished I'd got the 5 door for any reason.
Yeh fogs look gd, I never use mine lol but still.....
