Wanted to change the aerial on the Leon as it is way to big and looks out of place. I was not keen on the S2000 as IMO it is a bit too long and fat and to me dosn't look right.
All the stumpy aerials I could find were alloy which dosn't look right with a rubber/ plastic base. I remembered a thread from Tyresmoke when I had my R32 about the Sharan aerial but they are only available in the USA and cost £18 which is a lot for an aerial IMO. I have tracked down an exact match for the Sharan aerial at the most unlikely of places Citroen after seeing 5th Gear and the new C5 which has it fitted. Found one on e-bay at £4 + £1.50 postage checked the thread would fit and it does. Arrived next day and a perfect fit with no loss in reception. I think it is a bit of a result needs some dressing to match with the base but other than that perfect.
Anyhow I am dead pleased with it. Judge for yourself.
