See you did do a video in the end... sweet engine tone .. .. ..
That's the sound of very little in the way of exhaust system :p

 Do I take the bammer - Revo remap is on the cards .. your old tuning box is just not up to my demands now .... :p or do I take the Twin top once I have remapped that (circa 200BHP I'm told ..) Either way Ian - that video has inspired me...
Haha.. the old resistor box!

I'd say twintop.. glad you liked the video :D

Just a quick update to say that since returning from the 'ring in March, I took the Arosa to Oulton Park on the 22nd April for its first bout of UK track action. It was a glorious sunny day, full circuit and open pitlane! A really good experience and the Arosa certainly did well. I'd never driven OP before, only ever been there as a spectator, but it's a brilliant track and was a heck of alot of fun!

Next up: Back to the Nurburgring next weekend (10-13th May) for the second trip of the year :D

Statistical Update!

Given I took the Arosa along to GTI International this weekend, it would've been rude not to take it along the 1/4 mile and see what it could do.. Unfortunately, there was a) no grip and b) a colossal headwind; making the results less than stellar:

8.94 0-60 and 16.99 1/4 mile

I think I'll be heading to Santa Pod to attempt this again under better conditions!

On another note, I finally managed to get the car on a weighbridge, where it tipped the scales at 50kg more than I would've hoped.. 910Kg (pretty much back to factory weight!).. I knew the cage was heavy, it's obviously a bit heavier than I thought!

This clocks up 130bhp/ton as a power-weight ratio.

So, plastic windows and more power it is for me next year!

Next up, back to the 'ring in 3 days..!

Looked really nice on sunday - also looked very cool heading up to the strip too and was getting a lot of looks too. You do realise you're going to have to either stick a VR6 in there or a 1.8T :) Or have you considered putting a bike engine in just for stupidity?
