K1 Colour?

Hi,

Found your very informative forums while drooling over the cupra K1 pics and decided to ask for more info. I currently own a Leon fr tfsi in emotion red, bought the car new about 2 years ago and have been very impressed with it I`m thinking about ordering a new Leon cupra K1 and I`m somewhat dissapointed with the lack of colour choice! I`m a paintsprayer by trade so colours tend to be high on the list for me, the choice of colours available on the cupra K1 are poor considering the cars breed. Emotion red would be my first choice probably with the black wheel option but I have a feeling It`s going to feel like I don`t have a new car sat in my drive White well I`ve had 1 white car and said never again, same goes for black for the same reasons (dirt/flys) which leaves Luna grey? Has anyone got 1 in in this colour, would love to see some pics if so. My concern is that grey will kill all the panel definition that the K1/aero kit gives?

I've had white before and it rocks, can't understand you saying white is bad to live with and clean.. It's a doddle!

Hi,if its any use you can log onto seat uk website and go to spec my car on the leon section and select k1,you can then select what colour/wheel colour you like best.

Gotta be white. There are pictures of a luna grey K1 on the seat carsdirect area of the forum (dealer section). Incidentally irfan's a very good bloke to buy from and I can strongly recommend.

indeed white is far from exclusive these days - very manufacturer is pushing white cars this year.... how long will the colour be fashional for I wonder!

Must admit the Luna grey looks better than i imagined, keeps the clear lines. The seat configurator sways me to red though, with black wheels. White always reminds me of commercial vehicles (no offence) as its the cheapest colour but again suits the car. Still undecided but I`ll let you know.

Good choice in car and colour mate. Yeah it will be a pain cleaning it all the time but on the other hand it will look good
