Do you think i could get Civic Type R seats to fit in my 56 plate FR if i made the right subframes? Just got a chance of a set really cheap. Obviously they'd say type r on them that dont bother me!

Yes, anything will fit if you make it fit ;)

Personally, it would bother me them saying Type R

The way i see it is, if it said porsche on my brakes i wouldnt mind :D The standard seats in the FR dont hold you in too well. I like the 'huggy' feeling of Bucket style seats if you know what i mean? I had recaros in my RS turbo and my cooper S so maybe its just me bein picky!! :p

I know where your coming from in regards to better seats for the car, but there is a small difference between porker brakes and type r seats...

Why? Brakes are from a different car and is an upgrade. Seats are from a different car and are an upgrade! Same difference. You could be driving a seat with brakes that say Porsche. And thats on the outside, where everyone can see them! :D

Lol some funny badges on there

Well, i bought them! Got them VERY cheap and theyre in immaculate condition. Just gonna send them to get the type r section taken out the top as its only a small section as opposed to the full seat (you can probably see from the pic) Think it will suit the car as my FR is red. Heres a pic of said seats:

LOL

They are nice seats to be fair. Exactly the same as in my olf CTR, but I always hankered for the Recaro's you get in the Premier edition CTRs...

Didnt like them as much. The had mostly the red 'rough' material on them than the soft black alcantara. The premier ones do look pretty good cos the frame looks more like a bucket seat though, and i suppose it would saved me havin to get the type r bit taken out. Ive to take my seats to Transcal so they can see them to give me a quote. Ill let you know how it goes.

Should be easy enough to fit as you get Recaro subframes for the mk4 ibiza, £95 a side from Recaro :funk:
