you know you have a mk2 ibiza when you buy it and driving it home the gearbox blows up, also your horn is pathetic and sounds like it should be on a milk float

What horn you got? Both my 2.0litres have had right meaty horns on them!

you know you have an ibiza when your rear wind screen jet ceases up and stops working and cannot be fixed so you take the black cover on the reverse of the boot lid and cant put it back on as easy as it came of....... still aint got a back wiper jet.

you can buy a pack of 3 rubber bungs from halfrauds for 99p i think, they fit perfectly into the hole thats left taking the wiper out

You know when you`ve a Mk2 when the locks freeze up at the first hit of frost (do they have frost in Spain) and you have to use the boot to get in. and you know you`ve a Mk2 because the centrol locking never works properly so you have to use the locks that are frozen................

I was wondering if it was just me that had to climb in through the boot as soon as things got a little cold. Bit of fun i guess

belt is only a couple of quid, shouldnt be to hard to change, shud be quite cheap.....stay away from a seat garage tho
