Couple of updated pics

My comps are going in for a refurb so im currently sporting some rather tasty mix and match rims 14 & 15" space savers on the back and pre facelift leon cupra rims on the front (the cars not being driven due to the leon wheels not fitting correctly but they were good enough to push it in the garage and they clear the brembo's)

Im also working on leon washer bottle and relocated and larger catch tank so will post up some pics soon

im still on 4 stud, leon rims are only on there so i could get it in the garage and jack the front end up (don't like the idea of 1 wheel bolt each side with all the weight on it)

wheels should be back by the weekend hopefully

Seeing you give it some stick on the space savers was funny! Snaking all over the road!

I've finally got round to finishing the catch tank so thought i'd post up the pics and details.

No bling bling im afraid just plain old boring black plastic, but it's functional and i don't think it looks to out of place.

After trying a couple of catch tanks i could never get them to fit how or where i wanted, being that i had a spare bit of space kicking around on the o/s inner wing i thought i'd set about modding the carbon filter into a catch tank.
Once the insides were removed (long nose pliers, screw driver and a bit of brute force deals with this) i decided to fill it with water to see how much it would hold, 2 pints will see it brimmed so just over a pint, which should be fine.

Pipework wise it runs from the tank back under the inlet manifold and into a 19mm T piece that's connected into the original pipework, i've been checking it over the last couple of days and im getting traces of oil in there now so it's working.

Couple of pics below, any comments welcome

Engine bay looks good mate :) Looks alot neater with the injector wiring hidden too ;)

looks sweet mate

how come you put the redbull can in the engine bay? just curious, cos i've got a Dr.Pepper bottle as a catch tank lol

I've got a ribena bottle for a catch tank at the moment. Works fine!
