198bhp is a lot for an ibiza lol tht must go like f**k ! :D its good that u can turn it off.. .i'd probably forget about that button tho and leave it on. I was thinking of getting a cupra but cant get insured anywhere! Im 18 with 1yr ncb... so i think a sport / Fr is about the limit for me for now. :-(

I liv in north wales now so its probably a different glacier cos mines not got leather... i didnt think u can get leather in an ibiza? im tempted to see if the mk4 golf leather interior will fit... luv the interior in the golfs :D

The Golf seats doesn't fit straight in, you'll need some new mounts made up. Polo 02- seats bolt straight in.

I got my 130 at 19, it was 172 within 3 months! :D

Yeah it was around £900 at 19 with 2 years NCB. I'm now 23 and pay £720 on my Cupra. Why the insurance group doubles on the Cupra I don't know :(

Anyway, must stop spamming the thread. Sorry!

Alright guys I've found this part number, 6LL501541.

Is this for the Cupra rear wishbone bush?

Cheers

Hi Chris. No you want 6ll 407 183. Ritchierich has just bought some of these who is on this forum. I would order them for you but I cannot order them on the Audi parts ordereing system. They make it brand inhibited on any Seat exclusive part numbers. :-(

I think a few people use the cupra bushes in the original wishbone so I'll follow suit. :)

I phoned the parts department but they shut at 12 and I missed them, will get onto the phone to them on Monday and post back with price etc.

Are the bushes hard to change? If I don't hear anything with regards to selling my car during the week I'm going to order up a Fabia vRS ARB and have that fitted with the Cupra bushes, no more squeeking and a lot better handling. :)

there a bit awkward to fit.when the old bush is chapped out with a hammer rub down the inside of the wishbone bush location hole with emery tape and put plenty of grease round the bush and in the hole.the bush must be pulled in straight or the platic casings on the bush crack.where in scotland you located?

Beith-not the furthest away from me in Kilmarnock. hmm just trying to think if i'd have the stuff to do it at home for you.just getting the room to get under the car for taking the wishbone arms off. I work at Bickets in Kilmarnock-don't know whether you have heard of it or not?

Ah right yeah I know Bickets!

If your able to do it as a homer I'm interested - would gladly pay the price too. :)

But I understand space is an issue - no room at mines either.

Let me know if you can, otherwise I'll just need to go to a garage.

With this part number, do you need to order two of this part number to get both sides? Or does this part number come as a pair sorta thing?

Yes its 2-off that is required.

I've also had trouble using a very helpful VW Van Centre to order my parts as now he is in the same boat, ie is inhibited from ordering non VW Van parts. I suppose that is where TPS comes in and is why the individual marques have to operate that way!
