Interesting. That is exactly what the Mk3 owners said about the Mk4 when it first came out. The same thing happened with the Mk1 and Mk2 Leon. It always takes a while to get used to the new shape.

Yeah it does take time to get used to the new model when you love the current one. Really we cant pass judgment on the new one yet as we still dont know what it will look like really. The EKTA pics could be genuine, but then again they may not be.

March is nearly here though, and with march comes geneva, and with geneva comes the unveiling of the 5 door ibiza. :D

EKTA pictures are fakes.

"Yesterday some official looking schematics of the 2008 Seat Ibiza popped up on the internet, a week ahead of the official debut at Geneva. They seem to have come from a parts inventory software sytem that is commonly used by insurance companies or by non-franchised service facilties. The two sketches claim to be a Model (Modello) IB (Ibiza) while the year (Ano) selected is 2009, but after tracking down the source images we noticed that they are dated April 2007."

Could it be the concept that becomes the Ibiza a few months later? Going by the recent other new models which have followed that sort of pattern.

Possibly. Could be a SEAT sports car though or the bolero. Whatever it is I presume it will have the concept tag and it will be a more extreme styled version of what will hit dealerships in the near future.
