im seriously considering the honeycomb grills, are they pretty easy to fit?? as i havent worked on cars alot before.....
and off the topic. Music Man no1, does your 100bhp sport have drums or discs on the rear??
i have a 1.4 sport and im not sure which bhp mine is, if its the 75bhp, its quick considerin it only has 75bhp, i even beat the 0-60mph time which is in the handbook for the Ibiza for the 75bhp version. I havent done any mods to increase bhp yet either. some light on the topic would be great.
cheers

it has discs on the rear, i asked the dealers to do me a print out of the car's history and spec, and it confirmed its 100bhp standard, oh and they did that for free!!

as for the grills im fitting them this weekend, but there are posts on scn that say how to fit them, i cant see it being that hard (famous last words!!)

the facelift and pre facelift ones are different, that may explain the different numbers!

Ibiza Mk4 FR Bottom Grilles Pre facelift
Centre - 6L0 853 667 C 01C
Left Fog Lamp Cover - 6L0 853 665 C 01C
Right Fog Lamp Cover - 6L0 853 666 N 01C

Ibiza FR Top Grills Pre facelift
Radiator Grille Left - 6L0 853 677 A 01C
Radiator Grille Right - 6L0 853 676 A 01C

so music man, loks as if you've got facelift ones if that's the case!

So, has anyone fitted these yet? I'd be interested to find how difficult it is, as I really can't be ar$ed with removing large bits of the car to replace a few bits of grille....

......if it's just a case of unclip old & clip on new, then I'll probably go for it.....

Gazman, are you willing to do a 'how to' guide?

HA HA, I must sound like a right lazy barsteward......."do you have the part #'s?".........."how do you fit them?".........I should just get on with it and find out!!

I know that, but I thought you have just bought all the bits with the itention of fitting them? Or are you getting someone else to fit them??

If/when you fit all the bits some kind of "unscrew this, swear, twist this, replace this" guide would be much appreciated!!
