Looks very smart that, i can only assume the addition of the rear arb makes as much difference to the arosa as it did to the Leon when i got mine done. Really looking forward to seeing the finished product. That's the great thing when you have enough spare cash to throw money at something all at once, no scrimping and saving required - the biggest complaint i had when modifying cars in the past was that it took almost the life of ownership to get it how you wanted it.

The ARB has made a world of difference.. not sure about the spare cash - that's all gone now :p Throwing money at it is the only way to make the deadline! I'm looking forward to having the finished product as despite it being great fun doing the project, it's all I'm doing at the moment.. and in it's present state it's neither one thing nor another. Once it's done I'll be able to enjoy it, and have the time to do other stuff other than work on the Arosa!

Bring on Easter!! :D

The Work Continues

Today I headed off to get a full wheel alignment done following the coilover fitting yesterday. Once again, I can't fault the chaps or equipment at our local chain of Chemix autocentres, the branch in Stourbridge has recently been renovated and boy have they got some trick kit.. shame I forgot my camera as this was the most sophisticated 4 wheel alignment equipment I have ever seen! (Moreso than my usual Halesowen branch and that's good)

I now have a nice bit of camber and a fraction of inward toe:

Ignore the steer-ahead, I've now adjusted the position of my steering wheel by a few notches :) Needless to say, the handling is now about as sharp as it could be! Very positive indeed.

Next up after cleaning my A2 it was time to prep for the cage install and remove some unnecessary wiring whilst things were still 'easy' to get at:

I've now only put one front seat back in (the drivers one before some smart arse say's summit!), so, fingers crossed for next weekend as it's gonna be a busy one :)

We made a mock up of cross door bars as well its a mission to get in and out off, noticed your seats are on runners, can i offer some advice and get stu to fix the seats like mine as those runners break after 6 months.

I think I'll still be up for a bit of cross action

Erk.. doesn't sound promising about seat runners.. will have to see how things go together, prob is, as I won't be the only driver they need to be adjustable
