There pretty blue from what ive seen mate. The 8000k are more towards purple than blue.

And side lights they've been using leds but would have to be white ones as blue isnt legal of course

the whiter or 'lower' the number the better in principle as it is allowing a fuller of spectrum of colour and hence full brightness

the higher numbers lose the white hence being more blue /purple etc but are in fact dimmer to a degree

sounds like you need a H4 kit - ibiza 1.4 ye ?

theres 2 kits usually too choose from

bi-xenon which is HID for both low and high beam filaments and is usually more expensive as its effectively 2 kits

low hid/halogen high which is a dual filament but only the low beam is hid cheaper too

depends how often you really use high beam in all honestly

Yes its a 1.4 so I need H4.

I live in the country so use high beem all the time at night.

So do I need 'bi-xenon' then if I want both high beam and low beam??

ye if you want the top dog then both elements HID or bi-xenon as sometimes described just double check the small print to make sure before you buy as they can be dearer the double ones

you'll see descriptions like this to avoid :

Single low beam kit. This Kit comes with 2 ballasts, 2 HID light bulbs, wiring harness, screws, and other necessary hardware needed for installation. Easy installation with instruction manual

heres a pic with the different types so very simialr to look at

H4 (H/L) HID KIT (6000K)
