Had the Alu air vents & gear surround fitted as part of the deal when we bought the car, so can't tell you how hard they are to fit. But they have really brightened up the interior and defo give a more sporty feel. They were worth the money just to see the big smile on me gerts face.

Thanks for your compliments, opinions and advice guys, decided i'm gonna plump for the twin tailpipe (she don't know about that either!)

Will get some better pics of the Alu kit up as soon as poss.

the outer ones are well easy but the middle ones are a pain in the arse

my advice is to thread cable ties through the vent slats and pull them out with the ties

then line it all up and pop the shiny bits back in

it sound easy and TBH it is but its fiddly

I've done 3 sets now so give me a shout if you decide to do it as the stealers will prob prise them out with a screwdriver and mark the dash surroundings :ban:

Unfortunately, she doesn't keep track of her mpg, bit like her spending money on clothes, bless her!
All I know is that she is putting about £25 in a week to drive from Ilkeston into Nottingham every day, so she's doin bout 35-40 mile round trip.
So that's £25 of juice to do aprrox 200 miles.

Ahh right, yeah ive gone 350 miles in mine now and ive put about £40 of petrol in so i guess that works out about right... i checked on www.parkers.co.uk and it says that the 100PS sport does 42 mpg avg but that really has to be doing 30mph in 5th because mine does about 25 odd lol ohh well its fun so im not that bothered about consumption atm!

:D

getting around 39mpg according to the trip counter (since i've bought the car i haven't reset it again) But i kindof shaft that as i have 2 large hills near me that i usually get around 20 going up. Also not done any motorway/bypass driving, so around 40 isn't too bad i guess. I do drive in 5th gear at pretty much all times though.
