rear washer

hi all,does anyone know if the rear washer water jet is powered by its own pump?
mine seams a bit weak.only get a small amount off water comin out.

Think it is but not sure. I'd try asking in the Leon MK1 section as the petrol versions share the same parts and one of the other non diesel members might have had the same problem

may well be just blocked up, try a pin in the hole

Mine was like that till I noticed water in the boot! The pipes had come apart behind the panel on the left hand side in the boot Check for dripping near the boot light. This can happen when the washer jet gets frozen up.
