somehow we've managed to get a piece of chewing gum (wrigleys extra tablet type) behind the steering wheel.

No idea how mrs lard managed it but it's got itself to the indicator stalk inside the steering wheel mount housing so that when the indicator is pushed left it goes with a twang.

How do you get the housing off to get to the internals - is it a case of just unscrewing any screws or are there clips etc. that need to be undone in a certain way?

thanks for any help

scouts honour it was the wife :)

Will try adjusting the steering wheel but would prefer to get it out rather than just let it get lodged somwhere else...
