Reference Sport 1.4TSi

Hello everyone, this is my first post so go easy on me!

I'm looking to buy a new car and after looking at the Golf, Mazda 3, and the Leon I have decided that the Leon is the one for me. Specifically I like the look of the 1.4TSi Reference Sport, as it seems to be good on fuel consumption (44.1mpg) and emissions (155) while still being fairly nippy (0-62mph in 9.8secs, top speed 122mph) and sporty looking, and at the same time fairly wife and kids friendly.

I realise most people on this forum are probably more interested in the FR and Cupra, but they are both out of my budget. I currently drive an 8 year old 1.0 Saxo  (it's the wife's) so I think this will be plenty fast enough for me anyway!

So yeah, just wondered if anyone else is waiting for it, or has any ideas on when exactly they will be available, all I was told is March sometime.

Thanks :)

Will do, I've actually just been looking in your folder on here and reading some threads and everyone seems to be very happy with the service they've had, so I'll make sure I give you a call. :)

Not been in or driven the TSi but it sounds like a fun engine and it will no doubt be tunable too! You might also want to think about a 2.0TDi 140 which appear to run with more bhp than claimed by SEAT and do over 50mpg too.

Oh and welcome :)

I thought about pre-ordering one but I'll be getting the car on finance (ideally 0%) so I was going to wait and see what deals come up over the next few months.
