Bought another set of D90s today (sold my polished ones, but there is a story behind that).

8" rear and 7" front, although from lip to lip on the rims they are 9" and 8" + 25mm FK adaptors.

Im keeping my car the colour it is, so i was thinking of either:
1) painting the rims cream face with black inserts and a black basket
2) getting them mirror polished with black inserts again
3) leave them all the way i got them (matt black with silver pin stripe) they need a refurb anyway, but i got them cheaply, no scene tax!

technically they are off E38 bud, but the guy is also only 5 miles from my house, so i dont think its the same person you're thinking of.

Cut me a good deal, so i just took them even though they'll not be on for a few months.

Brummy,
Any pics of the Estorils on the green machine yet? Or is it still a work in progress?

David,
Gloss cream could look good. Might be risky though! Maybe with a black pinstripe around the edge?

i've had another wild idea?!

matt black all round with kawasaki green lip...kinda risky but can work!

Yeah, i bought a set of D90s first, wore the tyres right down on em and sold em for the same price as i paid, the 2nd set were too skinny, the 3rd set were polished and i sold em cos i got offered £200 more than i paid

and now these lol :)

Anthony,
Only did a 'trial fit' fella.. as I happened to have a back rim off one day..(pic below).... no rubber on it when I did.. the 'Rils have been kept covered and dry since I got them, have the rubber to go on but in no crazy rush as yet due to the crap on the roads ( winter salts etc).. 1st time these may actually be seen properly is down at Pod, as theres a few things i need to get done with the car..(lowered for one) and I confirmed earlier today that my MOT falls while im away in NZ, so it looks like I may have to get a test before I go, possibly up to a couple of weeks before I do, due to having little /no time to getthings done if it fails should i leave it till the last minute :(

i know a painter mate, he always does me a deal as a homer, but the price of paint per litre has gone up so i dont know how much exactly it will cost now.

When i got my last porsche set done he did them for £100 cash..

but i can see it being easy 150 now. :(
